All.
They have plans to arrange for a 'JVBU Study Tour'This will be an educational Tour where they make arrangements to travel to Jaipur, Pushkar, Udaipur approx.

These are not just beautiful places but very rich culturally and Historically.
The purpose is to give an exposure and education on site of the diverse Indian Culture and History.
The trip will be 5 days tour.
The facilities are of good
The date of travel will be from 17th July to 21st July (5 days)
Total cost : $ 200
This includes boarding and traveling.
This is a plan, they might be slight variations as they execute it.
We need to know students interested in this. At least five students if enroll in this tour, the program will be organized.
The cost might be lesser if we have a bigger group for this program.
Have fun. India has a lot to share.

Q and A

1. where do I get a visa from? 

Houston has the embassy. You will have to send your passport and it takes more than a week.

1. what type of health insurance do I need? 

Ask your Doctor, better guide. If you are receiving the scholarship from FIU, you enroll into the International department and have your insurance. They help you.

1.  Tickets to fly into the University which is the best Airport? Delhi or Jaipur? 

Jaipur is closest to JVBU university. So you will change flight at Delhi. But in case you want to visit Delhi and take a tour or rest and get rid of your jet lag, Delhi is the international Airport.

1.  And how far is Ladnun from these two places? 

Ladnun is 4 hours drive from Jaipur and a night journey from Delhi.

1.  How do I get to the University from from the airport? 

JVBU uni makes arrangements to pick you up from Jaipur. A specific place in Jaipur is Anuvibha. This arrangement is only the day prior to the course commencement. (neither early nor late). So not to worry about transportation of Jaipur to Ladnun, but surely yes from Airport to Anuvibha.

1. Residence on the University Campus or offsite? How is the living arranged in India? 

Residence is off campus but the campus is very small. So residence is walking distance. You will have rooms facilitated with AC. You will have to share rooms. Probably usually 2 in a room. 

1. Are the doc available there?

Yes. There are docs. But I personally believe do carry your regular medication and first aid medication which your body is more adjusted with. Doc and hospitals are there, Hope you don't need them.  

1. Dress code??

Yes, it is summer time. But you could preferably have modest dress as per Indian culture. (I suggest avoid shots...you know)

1. Drinking water??

In campus it is filtered water. Not to worry.  Preferably I will suggest while traveling use only water bottles.

1. Food?

Food on campus is veg only. Hot meals three times. Campus is Veg. Alcohol and Smoke free. They recommend every foreign student to abide by this rule. 

1. Ladnun is a land of??

Peacock, peace and penance (you will see ascetics moving around instead of traffic)
